CardMill's Kickstarter was a huge success! 
Now we get to work!

Thank you all for your amazing support and backing of CardMill! We can't wait to show you what it means to us by making sure CardMill is the ultimate tool you'll use for all your TCG scanning and sorting needs! 

The Kickstarter was the fun phase. The honeymoon. Now we get to work, and our entire team is dedicated to delivering the best, most-reliable TCG card scanner and sorter for all of us - the players and collectors of our favorite TCGs! We can't wait for CardMill to start doing the hard work for you!

The CardMill team will be hard at work manufacturing, testing, making mechanical and software improvements, testing...and testing...and then some more testing. 

While major updates will be made on Kickstarter and our social outlets, we'll pepper our CardMill Discord with production and testing photos and updates now and up through fulfillment. (note: each backer on Discord will have to do a verification process to verify their backer status before entering the exclusive CardMill Backer Lounge channel.)

In about 8 weeks, we'll send out backer surveys so you can finalize your options and add-ons. 

In the backer survey, you'll be able to:

✅ Specify color options for your device and trays (final colors may vary slightly from above representation)

✅ Specify whether you want to upgrade to the Ghost Edition

✅ Specify your art choices for any add-ons

✅ Add additional CardMill devices or accessories to your order

✅ Verify your final shipping address

✅  View and pay shipping fees and taxes

If you were late to back the Kickstarter before it ended, you can still secure a CardMill and add-ons as a late-backer.

After the campaign close, late-backing will be available, but it’ll cost more. So if you want the early adopter price, today’s your last chance.

You’ve been asking for more demonstrations — and we’ve delivered! We recorded three brand-new videos showing CardMill handling real cards in different scenarios.

1️⃣ Alphabetical Sort – Watch CardMill sort ~100 cards from a prerelease pack of 6 fresh MTG packs into alphabetical order with 97% accuracy. No jams, no damage.

2️⃣ Sorting by Type (with Perfect-fit Sleeved Cards!) – See CardMill handle Perfect Fit–sleeved cards and sort them by type. Yes, it works even with sleeves!

3️⃣ Condition Testing – We take a closer look at the condition of the cards after a sort.

CardMill is built to be flexible, accurate, and durable — whether you’re sorting for play, cataloging for your collection, or pricing for trade. These videos give just a small taste of what the system can do, and we can’t wait to share even more as we keep testing and refining.

This is CardMill V1 prototype. We are actively in process of developing V2, our production model, and are exploring increasing speed, tray capacity, card handling, accuracy and much more. Currently V1 takes 1 hour to process 300 cards. We are targeting to get that down to 30-40 min per 300 cards. Thanks to our Kickstarter backer’s support we can invest more and push this product to new heights.
